Project Proposals
COMMUNITY RESEARCH & IMPACT COMMITTEE
The Junior League of El Paso, Inc. has a long history of actively working with local partners on projects that make a positive impact within our community. Projects must seek to create positive impact within our focus areas of physical and mental health, as well as include a hands-on component for our active volunteers.
Last year we introduced a two-step application process, designed to gather ideas from the initial proposal, engage in conversations and planning with potential partners and finally to then work together to submit a robust project proposal. We thank you for the many proposals that we received! We will start accepting applications for the upcoming year in a few months.
For more information regarding our project types, please see below.
Done-in-a-Day – brief volunteer projects that can be done in a day or less.
Provisional – one month long projects that provide an opportunity for our new members to work with a community partner within a short time-frame and small budget,
Regular – these projects usually last 1 or more years (June – May) and may involve both a budget and volunteer components;
Other – if you have an idea but aren’t quite sure where it might fit, we still want to hear from you! Just mark the Project Type on the application as “Other.”
The deadline for the initial project proposals will be November 1, 2023. If you have any questions, please contact the Community Research & Impact Chair, Erin Miller at miller.erin@outlook.com
