The Vice President of Community Projects shall serve as Chair of the Community Council, which shall consist of Committees as designated by the President.

Admitted into Active membership in 2002, Cindy is currently serving as the Asst. Chair for Community Research and Impact committee. She has served as Member at Large (MAL) and Chair of Membership Care. In addition, other committee member experience includes Nominating, Placement, Headquarters, Education & Training, Harvest of Hope, Provisionals, Bite of the Border, Cookbook, Christmas Fair Hospitality, Christmas Fair Special Events and League Temps. Cindy has attended ODI in Dallas, Texas.
Cindy has been employed by Simon Property Group for 30 years and is the Area Director of Marketing for Cielo Vista Mall and Sunland Park Mall. Cindy is a native El Pasoan and received her Bachelors of Business Administration from UTEP. Cindy is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and has served on the Advisory Board for the El Paso Convention & Visitor’s Bureau for 5 years.
She is currently involved with the marketing committee for Destination El Paso.

Cindy is married to her husband, Mark and has two children; daughter – Courtney, who attends St. Edwards University in Austin, TX and son – Hunter, who currently attends UTEP.
When asked about her favorite thing about JLEP, Cindy replied, “The Junior League of El Paso is a great training organization full of talented and incredible women who want to make a difference in their community. It has been a pleasure working with them and getting to know these great women as well as developing everlasting friendships.”
