Where does the fair take place? 

Judson F. Williams Convention Center, better known as the El Paso Civic Center, is located on Santa Fe Street in downtown El Paso.

How many shoppers attend A Christmas Fair?

We anticipate 12,000 – 15,000 shoppers each year from the El Paso, Las Cruces, Juarez region.

How many merchants attend A Christmas Fair?

We anticipate over 220 merchants from every region in the country.   We have a waiting list for merchant booths each year, so please remember to sign up early!

Who do I contact if I am interested in being a merchant at A Christmas Fair?

Interested Merchants should visit the “Become a Merchant”   page for additional details for the 2021.  “A Christmas Fair” is a “juried” show, so new merchants will have to submit their  applications with a photo before being admitted.

What is the cost to participate in A Christmas Fair? 

Prices for 2021 booth space is as follows:

Do you take a commission from sales?

No.  Merchant admission is a flat rate based on the location and booth size.  Admission fees help fund our JLEP community projects.

When are payments due?

50% of the booth space is required to reserve your booth; the balance of the booth space is due in full by October 1, 2021.

Booth space is on 1st come (paid), 1st served basis.  It “pays” to pay early!

Can I have two (2) businesses in one (1) booth?

Yes, however, one business will have to sign the contract for the booth space and take responsibility for the space.  Both businesses can be included on the merchant sign and in the merchant program.

When will I find out if I am selected to participate?

Applications are juried on a rolling basis.  All applicants will receive notice of a decision within one month of application, but usually sooner.

Is there a place to store my extra merchandise?

Merchant storage is available in the Rio Grande Room, right next to the Merchant Lounge at no additional cost, on a first-come basis.  The Junior League of El Paso reserves the right to limit Merchant use of this space if deemed excessive or unfair to other participants.  The Junior League is not responsible for items lost or stolen in this storage area.  Use of this area by merchants is at their own risk.

Are Merchant Lunches Provided?

Yes, there is a free Merchant lunch provided Thursday afternoon before fair officially starts.

In addition, merchants have the opportunity to purchase daily lunches provided by the El Paso Convention Center, however, advanced ordering is required. Lunches will be

delivered by Junior League volunteers to those who ordered.  Any further questions regarding lunches should be directed towards the Merchant Committee.

Can you purchase extra table and chairs? 

Merchants will need to request  to add tables and chairs from their merchant committee.

The cost for all tables (Rounds, Rectangular)  is $8.00 bare/$11.00 draped/$15.00 draped &skirted. Tall or short cocktail tables are $10.00 bare/$13.00 draped. All chairs are 75 cents.  These items are all available at the convention center service desk upon move-in.

Do I need to be there the entire time of Fair?

Yes.  Someone needs to be at your booth manning it for your business during the shopping hours.

Shopping hours will be extended on Friday and Saturday until 8pm and on Sunday fair will close at 6pm.
