Anai Padilla

The Vice President of Administration shall oversee all of JLEP Administration to include paid personnel, insurance matters and all legal matters. She shall serve as the Parliamentarian at Board of Directors’, Joint Board and Council and General meetings. She shall serve as the Chair of the Administrative Council, which shall consist of committees designated by the President. She shall assume the duties of the President and President-Elect in their absence.

Admitted into Active membership in 2007, Anai is currently serving as I <3 STEM Chair. Her past placements include Headquarters Committee, Nominating Committee, Placement Committee, Archives Committee Chair, Merchant Committee and El Paso Ambassadors Chair. Anai is currently a board member of the El Paso’s Insights. She has also been involved with El Paso Urban Forestry Council, El Paso Irrigation Association and El Paso Council for International Visitors. She is also a Leadership Texas Class of 2013 graduate. For more than 20 years, Anai has been the Water Conservation – TecH2O Center Manager with El Paso Water Utilities. Where she promotes an understanding of the importance of water conservation and appreciation for total water management in the Chihuahuan desert. She has developed and implemented educational and public information programs to increase awareness of regional water issues and the actions we all can take to conserve water. She presents such programs to a wide range of audiences, from preschoolers to senior citizens. Anai got her Horticultural Science degree from New Mexico State University and her Business Administration and Marketing Master’s Degree from University of Phoenix. Anai is amazed by the network capabilities of the Junior League members and the commitment demonstrated by the incredible women in making El Paso a better community.
