“A song ain’t nothin’ in the world but a story just wrote with music to it.” Hank Williams The power of music and stories can change lives. The power of a strong women’s organization with a seventy-eight year legacy in El Paso can change a community. The Junior League of El Paso, Inc. presents The Storytellers on March 31, 2012 at the Scottish Rite Temple Theater. |
At The Storytellers, three famous singers/songwriters of multi-platinum, multi-Grammy award winning songs share the stories behind their incredibly famous songs and then perform those songs in an intimate, acoustical setting. This is an amazing opportunity to hear straight from the songwriters the meaning, personalities, and the stories behind their music. Knowing those stories, you never hear the music quite the same way again.
Money raised at this event will be invested in the Junior League of El Paso, Inc. Endowment Fund, and will be used solely to sustain, expand, and initiate the amazing community projects presented by the Junior League of El Paso, Inc. in perpetuity. The Junior League of El Paso, Inc. and the Junior League of El Paso, Inc. Endowment funds are 501(c)(3) charitable organizations.
