Country Music Songwriters Will Tell The Stories Behind Their Songs At Fundraiser
The "Storytellers" event, which will take place at 7:30 p.m. on March 31st at the Scottish Rite Temple Theater, was featured on KTSM NewsChannel 9. Newly-Opened El Paso Children's Hospital Features Resource Center For Families
The newly-opened El Paso Children's Hospital has a very special space donated by the Junior League. THe Junior League of El Paso, Inc. Family Resource Center at the El Paso Children's Hospital features a library full of resources, books, and computers to be used by patient being treated at the hospital as well as by their families. Junior League's "Good Times Singers" Bring Joy To Nursing Home Residents
As featured on KTSM NewsChannel 9, Junior League of El Paso Good Times Singers bring joy to nursing home residents all over El Paso. The group, made up of sixteen Junior League members, treats elderly residents to music and perfromance weekly. Click here to read more about the "Good Time Singers".
Junior League Program Provides Food To West El Paso School Students
KTSM NewsChannel 9 featured JLEP's "Food For Kids with a KiK!" program which provides underprivileged students at a West El Paso elementary school with a helping hand. The "Food for Kids with a KIK" Program provides snack bags of healthy food to children for the weekend, and provides educational sessions regarding healthy living as well. Junior League of El Paso Holding Bone Marrow Drive
The Junior League's Provisional Class held a bone marrow drives all over El Paso to help more than 50 patients in the "Be the Match" registry who need a transplant.
